Je viens de finir un livre de Maeve Binchy, Nights of Rain and Stars : vraiment top !
Et là J'embraye sur un livre fortement philosophique (sentez l'ironie ici.. Menfin rien qu'avec le titre vous allez comprendre ^^ ) : Shopaholic & Sister de Sophie Kinsella !
Qu'importe l'aspect philosophique de cet ouvrage, au moin il me fait rire ( et me ridiculiser en rigolant seule dans un espace public :p ). BREF !
En voilà un petit extrait (dsl pour les non anglophones :p)
je situe, Becky et Luke rentrent de leur voyage de noce d'une durée d'un an, durant lequel ils ont traversé le monde.
Ils sont chez les parents de Becky, où Janice, la voisine est présente.
"Ooh ! did you go to Tenerife?"
"er... no."
"Did you go to Majorca?"
"er... NO,"
"Did you go to Disneyland?"
"Er...no."
"Oh, well." Janice looks sympathetic. " Never mind. Maybe next time!"
Next time? What, next time we spend ten months travelling round the world?
"it certainly sounds like a lovely holiday," she adds encouragingly.
It wasn't a holiday ! I want to exclaim. It was a travelling experience ! Honestly. I bet when Christopher Columbus came back from America, people didn't meet him off the boat with "Ooh, Christopher, did you go to Disneyland?"
"er... no."
"Did you go to Majorca?"

"Er...no."
